The pool table is an object available in The Sims and The Sims 2: University. It is expensive, costing over 1000 simoleons in both games. The pool table fulfills the fun need and improves Room/Environment slightly. In The Sims 2, there is a hidden pool playing skill, and Teen Sims with a high pool playing skill can get a scholarship for it. Although it was rumored to return, the pool table did not come back with The Sims 3: Late Night. However, the announcement trailer for The Sims 3: Showtime shows a pool table.
