A science laboratory is a rabbit hole building in The Sims 3.

Gameplay descriptions

This is where Sims can get a job in the Science Career, attend Logic or Gardening classes. Sims can also tour tour the science lab. If a Sims is collecting insects they can sell them as specimen to the lab. Donating insects is slightly more rewarding than selling them via the inventory, so it is worth the trip. Sims can WooHoo in these rabbit holes, but they might get caught by the security and be asked to leave. This is also one of the properties you can partner with and own in The Sims 3. It's the most expensive but also the most profitable.
