Sef Darong is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Lina Darong, the father of Delilah Dreamer (née Darong), the grandfather of Darren Dreamer, and the great-grandfather of Dirk Dreamer. Although Sef is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his grandson Darren Dreamer. According to his SimDNA in SimPE, Sef's hair was black before it turned grey.
According to his age data, he had 27 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, Sef is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. His grave can not be found anywhere, so it was most likely deleted. Unlike the other members of the Dreamer/Darong family, Sef's initials are not D.D, and he isn't wearing a blue shirt like most of the male ancestors of the Dreamer family. He uses a character portrait pose that was discontinued during development.
