Stephen Tinker has just moved to Bluewater Village, with his wife, Wanda Tinker, and daughter Melody Tinker. He and his wife are just starting a home toyshop. His wife is more skilled at making toys, while his daughter Melody Tinker, who is supposed to take over the shop one day, has no toy making skills whatsoever - and no interest in making toys.
