Sunset Canyon is a residential lot in The Sims 2 for Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, and original Xbox. Players unlock the lot by satisfying the player's gold and platinum wants in HMS Amore. It is the first lot in Strangetown (or Strangeville[1]).
The residents are Red S. Hirt, Billy Specter, Sheila Deadbones, and Helga Mandrake. There is no kitchen, no toilet, nor any beds, forcing the player to spend money on this lot in order to satisfy the Sim's basic needs.
Layout
The lot is covered by desert, and there is a graveyard where three of the four premade Sims are buried. All of which have the want to return back to life. The small home has three bedrooms and only one bathroom. It has the appearance of an old movie set with some props.
Goals
The main goal at Sunset Canyon is to help Red S. reconnect with his deceased girlfriend Helga by completing his Gold Wants. There is a side goal to unlock the bonus location The Orbit Room by helping Billy Specter with his Gold Wants.
Deleting the gravestones is not recommended, as the game then cannot be completed.

Upon completing the final goal, Tranquility Falls will be unlocked. The player can move there by using the taxi Call Box at the edge of the lot, near the road.
