Sylvian Cho is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the son of Qiao and Aresi Cho, the husband of Emiko Cho (née Kimisha), the father of Etokas Cho, and the grandfather of Etsu Cho. Sylvian is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the Family aspiration, and the Pisces zodiac sign. As far as personality, Sylvian is quite active and nice, and a little bit neat. But he is quite shy and serious.
Sylvian is one of the few ancestral Sims to die as an adult, so he died a premature death According to his age data, he had 28 days left in the adult life stage when he died. Sylvian uses the 10th Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the nose and jaw use the 24th face template. The nose is also smaller and narrower, the eyes are closer to his forehead than on the default template, and the jaw is significantly narrower and slightly shorter than on the default template.
Sylvian's SimDNA in SimPE shows that his recessive alleles are for brown hair and dark blue eyes. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However Sylvian still has memories of the birth of Etokas. Strangely, his memories indicate that he met his grandchild Etsu, before he met Mystery Sim. His wife's memories on the other hand are much more accurate, as they indicate that meeting Etsu was the last thing that she remembered. This was probably a mistake made by the developers.
Sylvian's family tree has a bug which causes him to appear three times within his own family tree.
Resurrection tip
This Sim can be brought back to life using the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, the genie lamp or an evil witch's spell.
