Tariq Al Mahmoud is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Benazir Al Mahmoud, the father of Nighat Caliente (néeAl Mahmoud), and the grandfather of Nina and Dina Caliente. Although Tariq is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his twin granddaughters Nina and Dina.
According to his SimDNA in SimPE, Tariq's hair was red before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 36 days left in the elderlife stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, Tariq is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. He could possibly have come from Al Simhara, due to his name and appearance.
