  9. It's ok but hopefully EA will replace the Plant Sim with another life state or create a new one. Also, no new town. Main reason is because if every EP has a town then a lot of space will be used and the game will be very slow and constantly crash. Just add weather/seasons, pets and that other stuff. The other kinds of deaths and lifestates for pets would be better in a Magic/Supernatural EP that would come after this one. otherwise this is a good idea. and Weather has been practically confirmed for one of the next EPs.Bafendo 11:53, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

The Sims 3: Town and Country

Features

  • Reintroduction of Apartments and rental properties.
    • Sims can own apartments and be the landlord, set rental rates, and manage the building.
  • Introduce farms that Sims can own.
    • Sims can own livestock, horses, etc. on their farm. They can milk cows, collect chicken eggs, and sell livestock to the butcher. Or, Sims can befriend their livestock and keep them as pets or friends.
    • Sims can grow vegetables and fruit on a much larger scale than in a garden, and can buy equipment or hire other Sims to help care for and pick the produce.
  • Reintroduce Sim-owned businesses
    • Sims can own apartments or farms to make money (explained above), or start their own grocery stores, book stores, restaurants, consignment shops, spas, salons, bars, clubs. Additionally, Sims can start their own stores selling just about anything - a bakery selling baked goods, a car dealership, a furniture store, an electronics store, an art gallery
  • New Town
    • Would be a massive world that encompasses both a rural lifestyle, complete with large farming tracts and rolling hills, and an urban lifestyle, complete with housing blocks, apartment complexes, a business district, and tasteful suburbs.
  • New Creature
    • One with the animals - for those who grow extremely attached to their animals, they start acquiring traits and qualities possessed by those animals. Eventually, they turn into the animal they've befriended, and can live a double life.
  • New Jobs
    • Sims can be hired part-time or full-time by a business or farm. Sims will be able to control their working hours (to an extent) with the person they work for. Business and farm owners can talk to Sims they know and offer them jobs, or else pay a small fee to place an ad in the newspaper and online. The next day, Sims will reply to the ads and the owner can select new employees. Similarly, Player-controlled Sims will be able to browse the newspaper or online classified to find jobs with business or farm owners, then apply.
    • The employee model will not be based on direct conversation between employee and boss - the tasks of the employee will be changeable at any time by the player, even if the boss is not present.
  • New Traits
    • Animal Lover - This Sim deeply cares about all animals, big or small, and will try and befriend even the meanest of animals.
    • Entrepreneurial Spirit - This Sim has a desire to start and manage their own businesses - they are inherently better and more successful at managing businesses than other Sims.
    • Greedy - This Sim loves having money, so much so that they are ruthless in their money-making exploits. Don't get in their way, or you'll pay!
    • Slacker (conflicts with Workaholic) - This Sim hates work (or school)! It takes a lot to get this Sim motivated to get off the couch and into the workforce.

The Sims 3: Paranormal

Has your Sim ever looked up into the night sky and wondered if there is something more to it? Have they ever wanted to bring back their deceased worst enemy as something... incomplete? Have they ever wanted to create something totally random? In the Sims 3: Paranormal, all these dreams can come to life! Unleash the weird, the wonderful and the wacky upon your Sim's world. Will your Sims use their new knowledge to enrich the world... or for their own personal gain?

Features

  • Returning Neighbourhood: Strangetown (albiet 50 years before the Sims 2)
  • Returning life states: Alien (can sometimes appear near crop circles or can be met via Alien Abduction. There are three different species: The Vilourous (a diplomatic species. they look like humanoid grasshoppers), the Surgorrate (a trading species that will sell your Sim anything for the right price, though some of their wares are a bit dangerous) and The Grox (the asimilating, mighty species of cyborgs from Spore)), Zombie (the Oh My Ghost! opportunity now has a 10% chance of going horribly wrong. They can also be created if they are buried near a Science Lab. Zombies can now also eat brains, thus turning other Sims into Zombies. However, the zombie embraces the Sim while doing this, hiding the brain eating from view, so as not to terrify the pants off of sensitive people)
  • New skill: Enlightenment (increases as Sims encounter more and more paranormal activity)
  • New life state: Monster (can be created via a special object. There are a few different varieties, each with a different personality and each requiring different ingredients to make (e.g. common houseold goods like apples and steaks, apliances such as microwaves and/or metals/gems. A monster will be very obedient to its creator and creator's friends, while aggresive toword his/her enimies. However, a Sim with low Logic, Mechanical and Enlightenment skill may create an out of control monster, which goes aroud breaking things, attacking other Sims/monsters, etc)
  • New traits: Extra-terrestrial addict (likes the idea of aliens and has more luck getting abducted), Zombie Freak (likes Zombies and seems to be able to control them), Enlightened (gains enlightenment skill faster), Un-enlightened (is terrified by paranormal), Secretive (can avoid Men in Black better, but other Sims may find your Sim to be a bit weird, unless they too have ths trait), Monster Guru (has a way with monsters), Interstellar Gastronome (likes alien food better than human food!) .
  • New NPC: Men in Black (may stalk your Sim if they gain too much enlightenment skill. If they catch up to you, they will fight you. If they win, they will use a special device on your Sim, draining some of their enlightnment skill, knocking them out and leaving them with a bad moodlet, if your Sim wins, they will run away and keep their skill)
  • New Metals: Moon Rock, UFO Fragment, Uberly Gigantic Meteor (8x5).
  • New Insects: Radioactive Cockroach, Undead Beetle, Sporeomite (alien-looking bug, name is a reference to Spore)
  • New lifetime rewards: Beam Me Up (10000 LWP, has a better chance of being abducted), Foul Tasting Brain (15000LWP, Zombies cannot eat your Sim's brain), Men in Black, Begone (25000 LWP, Men in Black no longer trouble your Sim), Monster Mogul (30000 LWP has less chance of making a bad monster), SETI device (50000 LWP, furniture item, allows your Sims to contact aliens and even invite them over, like a phone).
  • Alien abduction and pollination return. Pollination now only has a 15% chance of happening instead of 100%, and it can happen to both genders. The appearance of the baby depends on the species that did the pollinating.
  • If you are employed in the Millitary Career, Alien Invasions may occur! The Grox are the most likely invaders and the Vilourous the least. When this happens, a Mothership will hover above a community lot and deploy a small troop of aliens. You and some squad members will be deployed to the scene. You will use a special gun to trap the aliens in force fields. They will try to do the same to you. You can also use your gun to free members of your squad that have been trapped. Civilians may also get caught up in the action. If your squad wins (by trapping all invaders) you will send them back to their ship, which will fly away. Then, the screen will turn black, a strange noise will be heard, and your squad will reappear at the millitary base. A dialogue pops up saying that your Sim doesn't remember what happened to the last x hours y minutes (depending on how long it's been since the invasion started) of their life. It says that the last thing they remember was a group of men in black tuxedos approaching them... If they lose, then all sorts of carnage, destruction and doom will occur! One last thing. If your Sim decides to show mercy and frees a trapped alien, the aliens may like you and diplomaticaly end the battle. Different species have different reactions. The Vilourous will almost always end diplomaticaly. The Surgorrate may take a few shows of mercy to end on good terms. The Grox will NEVER show compassion!
  • New Career: Paranormal (SETI and Post-Death Investigator branches) The rabbithole for this career is an old abandoned laundromat.
  • New life stage: Extra Elder (Sims who complete the jogging challenge in Athletic skill enter this stage rather than just having a longer elder stage)
  • Children Sims can now use some romantic interactions (OBVIOUSLY not WooHoo or Marriage, because that's just wrong! I'm thinkimg of just the kissing and the hugging and the flirting, etc, etc).

The Sims 3: Magical Horizons

Some time your Sims have submerged in the stories of fantasy as leak of the reality? They have desired to be able to dispel the annoying neighbor, or at least to silence it with magic? They would desire to change the same old routine in something more colorful and entertaining? With The Sims 3: Magician Horizons those dreams are possible! Free the warlock all they carry inside untying magic for all over the world. The power is great, but they will use it for good or for the chaos? Find it out immediately.

Features

  • New neighborhood: Fantasia. A vibrant town, full of life. Although pretends to be a common neighborhood there are large and sleepy magical secrets in each one of its inhabitants.
  • Returning life state: Warlock/Witch. (Usually found aroun the library or magical store). Can be combined with another life states. E: Vampire warlock.
  • New skills: Alchemy, spellcasting and crystal ball reading. The first one allows you to create potions able to alter the mood and even the relationships of the sims. The second one is only abaible to Warlocks/Witches allowing them to cast some useful spells ranging from the useful reanimate dead to metamorphosis. Last skill allows you to vigil an area from a remote location.
  • New NPC's: Warlocks/Witches. These townsfollk allow you to join the guild but are a bit temperamental. If you fight them and loose you will loose some skill points due to magic and also have a negative "headache" moodlet.
  • New Rocks/Metals/Jewels: Moon crystal/ Sunrock/ Rhodium/ Tademite
  • New Traits: Magical maniac (Gives a bonus to spellcasting/ alchemy learning rate and also tends to make better potions) Ingredient conosseiur (The ingredients bought at the magical shop are from better quality but slightly more expensive). Magically impeded (Don't expect him to success with the complex magical arts, or even to quickly understand the scripts)
  • New jobs: Magical branch (Media or Arcane)
  • New pets: Cats, Gargoyles, Great Spiders and Dragons (Danger: While more exotic it be the creature the more danger the Sims run if itself is not coached adequate. A cat would not represent a great problem, but a dragon would be able to burn and ultimately devour to the sims).
  • New community lot: Halls of magic (Only accesible to the magical users, this is where you buy your magical supplies and even the pets)
  • New objects: Crystall ball, Cow plant, cauldrons and much more. Even a broom to fly at high speeds.
  • New Lifetime rewards: Choosen by the hand 30000 LWP (Automatically be accepted in the magical guild). The Arcanist 50000 LWP (Spells never fail and your time of spellcasting/ brewing would be shortened as well having a bonus to the magic strength when dueling)
  • Metamorph state: When you use the metamorph spell you have a 50% chance of succesing. If so, the higher your skill the more perfect the morphing could be. Note that the metamorphing into an animal requires to have a pet of the desired state and a high relationship with it. #--Valdur 06:42, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

The Sims 3: Live the Life

The Sims creators should team up with Sid Meier to make an expansion based off of "Sid Meier's Pirates: Live the Life"

Features

  • Own fully customizable pirate ships (would act as a lot, having beds and that sort), floating in the middle of the sea.
  • Swim in oceans and lakes.
  • Sword Fights
  • NPCs: The Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones, Pirate Captains
  • Life State: Skeleton (like from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies).

(feel free to add more ideas)

The Sims 3: Reality

This expansion pack they really should make, it should have seasons, and when you walk outside your door there would be a chance percent of your day going good or bad. Like you could get fired one day but find some money the other day. And the glances part would be like if you look into another Sim's eyes (a menu option), you could see your future together. Like it would give the Sim physic abilities.

This expansion should also have Sims with multiple personalities, disorders like ADD, ADHD, Bipolar and other disorders. Just integrating the feel of real life like that, and they should make it like if a child doesn't eat the child will get sick but not die, and cars can have accidents.

It would truly be integrating real life into this Sims reality, it would bring it to life in no other ways possible. These are all the ideas I have now.--♥DarthCookie♥♥Talk♥ 23:58, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

The Sims 3: MVP

This expansion would take your Sims into a world of sports-mania!

  • Over 200 new objects, including basketball hoops, stadium seats, goal posts, and for community lots, concession stands!
  • Plenty of new lot types, including ice skating rinks, baseball fields, football fields, and basketball stadiums!
  • New skills to learn, like figure skating, hockey, basketball, and other sports.
  • The athletic career would get re-vamped so that you could be in different branches for different sports (ie. Figure skating, baseball, basketball, hockey, etc.)
  • Hundreds of new sports AND non-sports related outfits, hair, and costume make-up.
  • New favorite: favorite sport.
  • New town: Jordain Valley, where sports are number 1!
  • New things to collect: vintage jerseys, trophies, and baseball caps.
  • Sims can now compete in their sports for opportunities to earn cash, skills, and meet new Sims.
  • New NPC's: Athletic Trainers
  • Have your Virtuoso Sims try out to sing the SimNation National Anthem before sporting events!
  • New traits: Graceful, Speedy, and Athleticly Challenged
  • Have your Sims work at concession stands at athletic events!
  • Your Sim could also now get hurt during games and other athletic events, sidelining them for 1 or 2 games, depending on the severeness. They will still get paid, though.
