Should unregistered users be able to make contests?
You can be on either side. There's advantages and disadvantages to both.
No, they shouldn't, advantages and disadvantages[edit source]
Advantages[edit source]
- No confusion about how to contact the user
- You can easily contact them in case something's wrong with their contest
Disadvantages[edit source]
- The community won't be as open to unregistered users
- You'll have to make an account to make a contest, even if that's the only thing you plan on doing on the site

- Unregistered users are treated more equal to registered members
Disadvantages[edit source]

New Contest[edit source]
If I ever create a new contest, how will people be notified? Will they know about it? Or will it remain dusty and full of spiderwebs until anyone would ever know it? Nikel Talk 10:16, January 24, 2012 (UTC)
