Toby Bruenig is one of the pre-made NPC Garden Club members from Weather, the Secret sub-neighborhood that ships with The Sims 2: Seasons. He appears in all neighborhoods, once the Seasons expansion pack has been installed. Toby can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. He has short curly brown hair, a short brown goatee, glasses, dark blue eyes, and tanned skin.

Toby wears blue jeans, and a beige shirt. He is mostly interested in Fashion and Crime. Toby has the same facial structure as Jace Macarevich. Even though he has brown hair, his SimDNA in SimPE confirms that his natural hair color is red. Like other garden club members, Toby will sometimes appear at Community lots.

He shares his surname with Marsha Bruenig, a child townie from Pleasantview, and a townie from Desiderata Valley named Sadie Bruenig. Although it is not stated whether or not they are related, it is a possibility, though this is purely up to the player's interpretation.
