Treasure chests are a type of storage object in The Sims 3: World Adventures and The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure. Two additional chests were also patched into the base game of The Sims 4 as part of the Trick or Treat challenge.
The Sims 3: World Adventures
Chests can be found in the tombs of Al Simhara, Champs Les Sims and Shang Simla. In these, Sims can find ancient coins, relics, Simoleons or adventure gear.
Sims can also purchase their own chests from the general store register of the respective world.

But unlike The Sims 3: World Adventures they can be bought straight from build mode.
