Tyral Sumanth is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the husband of Irina Sumanth, the father of Keesa Patel (née Sumanth), the grandfather of Ramir Patel, and the great-grandfather of his grandson's unborn child. Tyral is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the Fortune aspiration, and the Leo zodiac sign. As far as personality, Tyral is extremely outgoing. But he is somewhat sloppy, lazy, and serious, and quite grouchy.

According to Tyral's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 11 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Tyral's facial structure is almost if not identical to the 2nd Maxis face template in Create a Sim. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However Tyral still has memories of Keesa's birth, and his grandson getting engaged and married.
