My name is Mathieu and I am a seventeen-year-old high school senior from the United States. I have been playing The Sims ever since the release of The Sims: House Party. I own every The Sims and The Sims 2 expansion pack and stuff pack, that's how much of a fan I am! I'm just poking around the wiki fixing or adding various things, but if you'd like me to work on something specific, just tell me on my talk page!

Current Project: Fixing Desiderata Valley and all it's families to make their pages more "alive" and full with content rather than just a simple "Sophia is a sim in D.Valley with a kid and husband she likes to jog." I think my version of Sophia Jocque's page is a bit nicer. :)

Pleasantview[edit source]

Ah, Pleasantview, my favorite neighborhood. It just reeks with drama and turmoil, and I find it interesting how it's set up to be played in an infinite number of ways that any way is interesting. Read on if you want to know mine.

The Lothario Household[edit source]

The promiscuous Lotharios, Don and Dina sure had a bumpy ride to get here. First, after Cassandra caught Don and Kaylynn during their hot tub shenanigans, Cassandra broke up with Don, leaving him to become single again. After fathering his child (without his knowing), Kaylynn broke up with him and Don moved on to Dina. Dina was very interested in Don for his looks and his money, and the two were married and moved into their new home across the street from the Pleasant Household. Don and Dina continued their deep love for each other and soon Dina gave birth to a baby girl, Katie. Dina has a job in the Journalism career while Don stays at home and looks after Katie, who is now a child.

The Goth Family[edit source]

Because I'm such a nice person, I had Bella make a return to the game, in order to bring back the original Goth family. Cassandra moved out (see Dreamer Family), and Alexander grew up. With the release of Apartment Life and the return on magic, Mortimer and Bella went back to their magic roots, becoming a warlock and witch, respectively (my Goth family from The Sims 1 were magical). Alexander also became a warlock as a teen, and the three of them spend their free time casting spells and making reagents, objects, and other knickknacks.

The Caliente Family[edit source]

Dina became engaged with Don, causing Nina and Don to end their affair. Dina then moved out to live with Don in their new home, having Nina living on her own again. Nina works as a record store clerk by day, without the hopes of being promoted (she doesn't care about her career much, she simply wants some money now and then), and spends her nights at Downtown community lots. At the last count, she had had WooHoo with thirteen men (including Don).

The Broke Family[edit source]

When Dustin takes out student loans in his name and goes to college, Brandi gives birth to her third son, Brandon. After mayor Mary-Sue Pleasant announces a building job where their trailer park is located, they relocate to Sentinel Apartments near the Community Center in Pleasantview. At the moment she is balancing care of her two sons and her job as a Substitute Teacher in the Education career track. Her downstairs neighbor Lilly Do watches Brandon when Brandi goes to work and Beau leaves for school.

When Dustin and Angela attended Sim State University, they broke up. After four semesters apart, the two rekindled their relationship and engaged upon graduation. After returning to Pleasantview, they married and now live in a duplex across the street from Don Lothario's original condo. Dustin currently works as a Counterfeiter in the Criminal career track, keeping the household's income at a healthy §5,320 per week. Angela is a stay-at-home mother, caring for the couple's twin daughters Jessica and Rachel, who are toddlers.

The Dreamer Family[edit source]

As we all saw coming, after Cassandra broke up with Don Lothario, she fell in love with and married Darren Dreamer. When Cassandra brought in some money for the household and Dirk moved out to go to college, Darren and Cassandra purchased a new home in Downtown. Shortly after they moved in, Cassandra became pregnant, later giving birth to their son Nathan, followed by daughter Alicia. With the return of Bella to Pleasantview, Cassandra took back up the hobby of magic, keeping her things behind a bookcase in their basement. Darren's dream job of being a Comic Book Penciller helps Cassandra keep her secret under wraps while she stays home to care for her two children.

Dirk and Lilith both moved to Sim State University and lived together until graduation. They have returned to Pleasantview and are living in a duplex along Main Street (Lilith's sister Angela and brother-in-law Dustin occupy the other unit) and are married. Dirk is a Supporting Player and Lilith is unemployed, and as of now they have no plans to have children.

The Pleasant Family[edit source]

Daniel and Mary-Sue are both elders living at their same home on Sim Lane. Daniel is a Hall of Famer and Mary-Sue is a Mayor (I consider her the Mayor of Pleasantview), both at the top of their respective career tracks. They are on the verge or retirement, and they own a vacation home in Takemizu Village. Their twin daughters Angela and Lilith have both moved out and are living with their own families.

The Langerak Family[edit source]

After Don and Cassandra ended their engagement, Kaylynn became pregnant with Don's children, but after Don's engagement to Dina and their marriage, Kaylynn decided to keep the children without informing Don that he has fathered them. The two boys, Jason and Justin, live with Kaylynn in her tiny apartment in Pleasant Vista Apartments, next to Nina Caliente's condo. Kaylynn works as a Substitute Teacher to earn money while her upstairs neighbor (also named Kaylynn) watches the twins.

The Lloyd Family[edit source]

The Lloyd family are a CAS family I made, with the exception of Jane. Ethan was once married to Danielle Lloyd and they had a child, Evan. After Evan's birth, Ethan became very successful at work, and quickly rose in his career, making a lot of money as a Vice President. Recently, Danielle was killed by a satellite, and Ethan decided to move to Pleasantview. While there, he met Jane, freshly graduated from Sim State University. They have been dating for a while now, and Jane has just moved in with the two men. They are not engaged...yet.

The Ruben Family[edit source]

Allegra and Martin were roommates in college (along with Jane, see the Lloyd family) and decided to live together after they graduated college. Martin works in the Medical career track, hoping to one day become a Chief of Staff. Allegra, however, decided to control her own fate and opened up a small shop in Pleasantview's commercial district, across the street from the City Hall. Allegra crafts and sells robots at her shop, claiming that everybody's life can improve with an extra arm around the house. (And no, Allegra and Martin are NOT in a relationship)
