Flansburgh page

Hi, I had to delete the page you just created because that is a deceased Sim and they do not have a family that is alive (or alive them self) to even have a family page. It's just best to leave them with out one unless they are alive or do have family that are, thank you. Starmoonie(Talk Here) 14:08, June 24, 2012 (UTC)

Also, families whose member only consist of one Sim don't need to have their respective family page, just to remind you. Nikel Talk Vote for Featured Media! 15:15, June 24, 2012 (UTC)

About this user

You may edit this talk page, but you can't block this user.

Signature

I've noticed you took my signature code and would like to let you know you can ask others to make you your own instead of taking others. You can also change your's as well. Starmoonie(Talk Much?) 20:22, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

She is right. It's so impolite to plagiarize someone's work, or this case, signature. Make your own. Nikel Talk Vote! 06:57, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

A few things...

You've probably already noticed that you have been blocked for a day for inserting nonsense into pages. Well just so you know, I've added another 2 days to your block for edit warring after you've already been warned for it in the past.

Based on your other talk page messages as well as your edits related to rumoured/dismissed expansion packs, you seriously need to rethink your approach to editing. Please read my comment to your rumours listing for future reference. Also making an edit like this to your talk page is actually considered as you being pretty full of yourself and I hope you're aware that if an administrator finds your behaviour to be disruptive, they will do something about it whether you like it or not.

Before continuing to edit once your block is up, I suggest you read through our policies and become familiar with them. Continuing your disruptive behaviour will just land you a longer, if not a permanent, block. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 14:10, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

You have ignored a warning or grossly violated The Sims Wiki policies. Any similar action immediately after this block expires may result in a permanent block. You may remove this message once you have read and understood its meaning.

You're skating on thin ice here - I suggest you read the policy pages and think about what you've done while you are blocked. This is your only warning. ђ talk 01:31, July 8, 2012 (UTC)

Your edit to the TS3 Neighborhoods Template

Note that we do not include player-created creations, including neighborhoods uploaded to the exchange, in any pages outside the fanon namespace. Since Belladonna Cove has not been officially re-released by Maxis/EA for The Sims 3, it cannot be included in templates, pages, etc for official content for TS3. If you have any questions or comments about this, please let me know on my talk page. -- LiR speak ~ read 22:14, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

I don't think that EA buys player-designed neighborhoods usually, as they have their own team of designers that creates the content they offer in the store. If you created the neighborhood, there's no rule against creating an entry for it (and its residents) in the fanon namespace. -- LiR speak ~ read 01:24, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
This is a warning. You have edited {{TS3Neighborhoods}} twice and those edits have been reverted twice for the same reason - we only allow content regarding official EA/Maxis released products, not fan re-creations. Do not re-add Belladonna Cove to the template, it does not belong there. If you ignore this warning, I will be forced to block you. -- LiR speak ~ read 05:08, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
OK, OK. I've read the warning & I've stopped adding Belladonna Cove to the template. Corymach7 (talk)

Pages about 'predicted' expansion packs

I noticed a couple pages in the Forums about predictions about "upcoming" expansion or stuff packs. I've chosen to leave the pages intact for now, however I am going to rename them and add a notice to the top of those pages so it's clear that these games are not confirmed (and in fact, aren't even rumored except by you). If you choose to create more pages like these in the future, note that you should not create pages that claim that a game has been confirmed if it hasn't been, even if that page is in the forums. It can cause confusion by some readers who might believe that the games actually are true, and the last thing we want to do on this wiki is give confusion or mis-information.

I'll give you the page renames when I've done the necessary moves. If you have any questions, leave me a message on my talk page. -- LiR speak ~ read 23:20, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

Additionally, please don't create forum posts like this one or this one. They don't present any new information at all or any new ideas; I've nominated both of them for deletion due to being generally devoid of information. -- LiR speak ~ read 23:55, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
Related to this, I have deleted your forum posts per what LiR said. Please do not recreate these or any related rumours threads, especially if you have no evidence to back them up whatsoever. Also, could you please refrain from trying to pass off rumours/fictional entries as facts which I've noticed you have done several times. Thanks! Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 11:41, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

Predictions...again

In addition to above, please do not create false rumour listings on forums to try and convince us that your own rumours are factual, like you did here. You're welcome to add something to this forum like Starmoonie suggested but please stop trying to pass off rumours as facts so that we add false listings. Take this as a warning. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 16:23, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

Re-linking

Corymach, what is your intention re-linking external links to somewhere else like what you did in here? No, you don't have to answer me that. Just stop doing that. I recall you've done similar thing in the past as well. Just stop that. Nikel Talk Vote Guess! 09:22, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT IT HASN'T BEEN A YEAR SINCE I'M HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Corymach7 (talk) 16:59, July 28, 2012 (UTC)
I've bumped this up to one week, as you were previously warned and you should have known by now that what you did is not allowed. I'll make this crystal clear, however. A rumor is only a rumor if a reputable fansite reports on it. Adding a forum page on TheSims3.com or on any other forum does not count. Forums in general are not cited on our rumors page as sources of rumors, for this very reason - someone could start a rumor simply for the sake of starting rumors. We're here to document real rumors, things that could potentially be in development, we're not here to document every user's game wishlist. So, do not add any more rumors to the rumors page unless you are citing a real fansite - not a forum. -- LiR speak ~ read 17:01, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

Cory, I sympathise with you regarding your condition but that doesn't explain why you are editing disruptively nor does it grant you a get out of jail free card. You still have free will; I suggest you read our policy as well as every other warning you've already been given and try to learn from them for when your block expires. Brotip from a Asperger: Making a forum post does not make it a reliable source: If I were to come and claim burgers will fall from the sky because I wrote a memo, will that make any sense? Editing restrictions

Hi, based on your recent behavior and growing history of disruption, I have instated some editing restrictions which have been agreed on by other admins. They are as follows:

  1. Do not create forum threads about unannounced titles.
  2. Do not add any rumors without reliable references to source your findings. Forums are not reliable references.
  3. Do not engage in edit warring with any other users, particularly administrators. By this I mean if you're reverted by an admin for whatever reason, do not revert them back and if you have something to say about it, leave them a message on their talk page.

You can read more about your restriction here. Violating any of these restrictions will result in the listed sanction being applied and subsequent offences will stack. If you behave for a reasonable amount of time deemed fit either by myself or another administrator, you'll be moved to probation for 30 days and if you're good through that, the restriction will be lifted completely. If you have any questions regarding this then please leave them on my talk page.

You've made some good faith edits and you appear to have some knowledge regarding Lucky Palms (and its Sims, families etc.) and I, as well as the rest of the community, would really appreciate it if you helped work towards improving our information for that neighborhood. I'm putting my trust in you to take these restrictions seriously, don't let me down. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 19:26, July 31, 2012 (UTC)

Infoboxes

Hey, I noticed that you tried to change a parameter on a page using the {{Sim2}} infobox, which didn't seem to work. Just thought I should let you know that if you visit the page for a template you can see the syntax which shows which parameters are used in the template. Unfortunately you can't substitute "games" with "game" without modifying the template itself and then modifying every page to use that template, it has to be exactly what it says in the documentation. Just a heads up; let me know if you need any help with anything. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 19:11, August 6, 2012 (UTC)

Community input required

Hello, there is a fairly important discussion on the Community Portal talk page regarding the seemingly declining activity from users and input/suggestions on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. You've already been told that self-created references and forums are unreliable sources and you still persist in doing what you've been told not to do. I know you can see this message, so please read this and think about it. You have been blocked for adding false information again regarding fake EP's. Please stop, because it will only be reverted and lead to a longer block for you, and I don't want you to be permanently banned. You can edit your talk page if you wish to ask me a question regarding your block. Thanks. ђ talk 01:52, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
