Hello The Sims Wiki! K6ka here with another edition of The Sim's Pen, The Sims Wiki's weekly fanon newspaper!

- The Original 8 are dying!
They're going like baby spiders in the wind. The Original 8 are dying off and soon, they'll all be gone. Only three of the Original 8 remain (as of this writing): Tyler Harper, Chris Fisher, and Dan Plummer, and they seem close to death themselves.
It has been said, however, that we live on in our children through our genetics. Instead of thinking the Original 8 as being gone, think of their children as being "a bunch of forgeries of the original".

If there's something I really don't want to do that everyone and their grandmother seems to want to try out, it's time travel. Messing with the space-time continuum, I'm afraid, might compromise my existence. So I'd rather not tamper with it. That doesn't stop some daring Sims from trying it though!
Take Mathetesalexandrou's Time Paradox, for example. In a nutshell: Sims from ancient civilizations travel through time and settle into the future. Tension arises as romance brews, and enmity is brought to those affected. Can you get your mind around the mess that results after a rift in the space time continuum?
Or how about something more localized? Shattered Dimensions goes back to the story of Mortimer and his vanished wife, Bella. To find out what really happened to his beloved wife, Mortimer, a retired scientist, decides to build a time machine to go back and see for himself. Maybe it's better if he didn't...

- The Dominate Game needs more players!
Dominate is a game of survival that revolves around the concept of, well, dominating all other players. The basic idea is that you play as a person living in a certain world, using money, alliances, crime and everything else you think of to ensure the survival of yourself or your family lineage! - Hot Story - Vandermorgan family by Carman39
The story begins when Lyla Vandermorgan (formerly Grunt) fakes her death to get away from General Buzz Grunt, whose military attitudes proved to be incompatible with her. She fled to Oasis Springs, where she enjoyed a few steamy evenings with Don Lothario before breaking up with him. Meanwhile, the General is still suspicious of her odd death, and starts to get uncomfortably close to finding her!
- Weekly Celebrity - Amin Edwards by C.Syde65
Okay... to end the odd "bias towards The Genesis Project Sims" trend that has been running within The Sim's Pen for a while, we're going to pick someone else this week. Someone that probably hasn't been getting as much attention as the other Sims. Amin is the adopted son of Stacen Edwards, who married the widow Brandi Broke. Stacen has been depressed ever since his daughter reached teenhood, seemingly without the help of him despite only the opposite being true. Even with his bad experience as a father, he still wanted to try again... maybe it won't be nearly as bad next time? This time, his efforts paid off. Amin grew up to be a strong and healthy teenager, and was a welcome addition to the neighborhood despite his lonely, humble beginnings.
