Okay... let's do our best not to get these out so late again!

The Sims
Will there be a "The Sims 4 Store"?

Well, that's the rumor that has been circulating recently. Apparently, an EA employee wore the tag of "In-Game Purchasing UI [designer] on their LinkedIn up till recently. However, there hasn't been any official statement about whether there will be a store or not, so don't get your hopes up.[1] What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!

Important discussions

As always, we have several matters that need your input! Please weigh in on these important threads:

Things looking awful? Here's why...
  • You may have noticed that the font size has increased and parts of the wiki appear broken and oversized. This isn't any crappy experimentation gone wrong on our end, but on Wikia's. See this page for what Wikia did. Reception to this change has generally been negative, but Wikia simply doesn't seem to care and are proceeding with the changes. The oversized fonts have brought nothing but anger as people comment on how it ruins the desktop skin of the site. Wikia's rationale was apparently "The mobile skin is broken and looks like crap, so we're making this change to the desktop skin," which doesn't make any sense at all, since mobile users use the mobile skin while desktop users use the desktop skin. And as many people commented: "The mobile skin looks like crap and to compensate, Wikia breaks the desktop skin, possibly to try to 'balance' things out." Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this change without violating Wikia's Terms of Use, although if you have an account, you may be able to fix some of the brokeness on your own screen with personal CSS.
Battles!
Ding ding!

The next round of battles have begun! Let's great straight to...

Canon battles: Self-centered Sims are everywhere, and if you haven't run into any of them, you probably haven't been out of your house enough.

In the red corner, we have Snob, the jerky Sim that covers their ears at the sight (or rather, sound) of criticism and only want to hear about how awesome they are, and how they shine brighter than the sun. Gosh, what a narcissist, those Sims are.

In the blue corner, we have Easily Impressed. These Sims smile at even the smallest of accomplishments, even those we usually consider as "insignificantly small". If a lady drops a coin and you return it to her, these Sims will applaud you and name a holiday after you.

Which one of these two traits do you prefer? It's people like you that run our battles and determine the winner — vote now!

Fanon battles: Children appear many times in our media and in literature as being lost, hopeless, and in need of a loving guardian. Badly.

In the red corner, Winter Snow steps out as a lost, distressed child who had an abusive father and a helpless mother. She became mentally unstable and suffered from frequent fits of depression. She was taken in by an orphanage and later adopted by the Snow family. I pity her.

In the blue corner, Zrala Maitolia may look like a Sim, but she's far from one. Originating from the planet Sixam, Maitolia was on an assignment to explore Terra (Earth) when her spacecraft crash-landed onto the planet's surface, casting her and some friends into a foreign world. Fortunately for her, she has a disguise that allows her to explore Terra without suspicion. However, she doesn't have the ability to show Sims who she really is, and she (I'm assuming) misses her parents terribly. I pity her as well.

Which one of the two do you prefer? It's people like you that run our battles and determine the winner — vote now!
