i am sorry[edit source]
hi nickel123.
i did not read the policies and i am really sorry. i did not mean to offened you. i am not sure if this is where i apollogies but to anyone i may have offended i am truly sorry.82.9.7.11 (talk) 18:46, May 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Once your block is over, don't make the same kind of mistakes that will get you blocked again. It might be a good idea to read the policies while you are blocked so that something like this doesn't happen again. Also, warning are usually given before blocks are given, so make sure you check your talk page every now and then just in case there is a warning for something you unknowingly did.
- I have had the same thing happen to me when I first started using the wiki where I made some changes that didn't follow policies exactly. It happens. But I think you'll find that no one was truly offended. It is just how things are run here (and most wikis for that matter).
- So familiarize yourself with the policies and make sure you keep an eye out for warnings to help you know what changes shouldn't be done, and you should be fine. Icemandeaf (talk) 19:13, May 27, 2014 (UTC)
- To put it simply, your fault was that you blanked the Charlie Shear page and replaced it with unrelated things. This practice is frowned upon, and in fact, considered vandalism. You've done no personal harm or offense to anyone, so you don't need to apologize. You just need to realize what you're encouraged to do (and not to do) in this wiki. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address, among other benefits!
