New pages

Hello and welcome to The Sims Wiki. New pages (especially ones about stuff still under development) are hard to create. I noticed you made two just now, but it is important to remember to write them in an encyclopedic manner and leave out personal wordings, such as "I". "Will add more later" is also a no-no in articles, a wiki is never done or complete, it's always assumed that more will be added later. For inspiration on how to handle new pages from new game titles, check out Penthouse & Skyscraper. They were made recently, contain lots of references and do not quote directly from their sources.

The Todo list

Please do not edit the to-do list with false information. I noticed you're checking off some tasks, which I can see are clearly not done. Take Category:Images of lots as an example. Walkthrough Guides

Do not add walkthrough guides to this wiki if they were taken from other websites (such as GameFAQs) and especially if they are copyrighted, as the walkthrough you added for The Sims 3 was. Blogs

Hi there. I'm still quite new to the blog system myself, but I see you created Blog:DarthCookie which was exactly the same as User blog:DarthCookie. Instead of having a DarthCookie category I also created Category:Blog posts/User blog posts/DarthCookie instead. I'm not sure we will allow users to have their own top-level categories. I hope the changes won't mess up what you've worked for too much. I'll be very happy to discuss it however. Misplaced images

While you're cleared out the images of lots, I'm afraid the images category and images of sims aren't quite cleared out yet. Ideally Category:Images of Sims should only contain images of Sims which can not be put in the sub-categories. The Category:Images shoud also only contain images which do not fit anywhere else. I'm afraid it's a huge task, so don't get overwhelmed, no one's expecting you to do anything all on your own.

If you have questions about a group of similar images and where they should go, check Help:Categorizing images. If you're still unsure, just leave the images and someone else will do it eventually. --Duskey^talk 10:58, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

When they're on the second half of their senior year, adults from the base neighborhood will come, almost as if telling them "Hey, I'm one of the people who will live in your neighborhood, just to let you know."

I have never, ever, seen this happen. Not with pre-made, playable Uni Sims, not with dormies I've made playable, and not with teens I've sent to college. That's why the "confirm" tag was there. I have been thinking about this. (Apologies for the delay.) I do see your point that it's hard to build an anti-vandalism record if other people deal with it before you can see it. The fly-in-the-ointment is that, if that's considered for one person who requests rollback, it has to be considered for all, which would make the requirement for a record more of a suggestion. I wasn't able to check your RCP activity at Wikipedia. The Patrol Log there doesn't show it, and if it's logged eleswhere, I can't figure out how to access that log. However, I was able to check your patrol record and contributions at wikiHow - when it wasn't tossing cookies at me. I think that gives me the out I need.
