Bad news - I put the blog under semi-protection, but protecting a blog post doesn't prohibit anon users from posting comments, it only stops anon users from editing the blog (which they already can't do). RE: The Late Night promo blog

The protect feature is essentially useless on a blog. By default, a blog post is automatically protected so that only the author and admins can edit it. Protecting a blog post does not affect comments. The only way to do that is to disable comments for the blog post, which we obviously can't do in this case, since making a comment is how registered users get their platinum badge. So the only real choice is to delete any offensive comments.

I check in on the blog post once a day (except on weekends), because I have to manually give out the platinum badge. From now on, when I'm checking for new users to give the badge to, I'll help out by deleting any blatantly offensive comments. JoePlay<staff /> (talk) 19:31, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

About the town being dead

Thanks for replying but it's complete bullshit. My computer is good enough to run the newest games (2009, the year the sims 3 came out) My normal town Riverview is always crowded with alot of sims but the town with the clubs is just dead. Didn't you see the producer gameplay video's? The town was dead. It looks like a town which has been evacuated after a zombie virus or something.

I actually signed up because I had discovered a couple of things about the sims 3 by accident while playing that you guys didn't list. For example... what I put on the Relic page was based on a discovery I made while bored when my sim was in a tomb. I found that if you "mourn" certain tombstones in tombs [these can be indicated by surrounding decorations] it will activate the opening of a hole in the floor and you might find treasure in them.

Potentially fake memories for Cassandra Goth

On the Cassandra Goth article, there are 2 memories that might be initially fake, "Bella got kidnapped by aliens", which should actually be, "Bella got abducted", and "Was accepted in college". That memory is entirely impossible since Cassandra is in the base game, and University was an expansion pack that was released after-wards. Could you check her memories? Thanks very much! Sorry it was my error but in my game she has a memory saying that she got kidnapped by aliens and not abducted, this memory can be added to sim's memories by SimPE the memory exists and it is real the one that is not real is Go to college, my error. Hi! No I am not trying to earn as much badges as I can, I'm only trying to improve the wiki. You see my main goal is that most pages from this wiki to have pictures. In my opinion when you see a picture you understand the article better (it's only an opinion don't judge me). What you are saying is true. America is asleep while i'm active, for example right now, its nighttime, and people who I would normally see on the wiki during the day are never active at this time. It's all about having people active while others are busy, for example with school, work, sleeping, or other things. The main reason I think more admins should be chosen, is the reason above, and the fact that so many admins and 'crats are nor on. Ive been active for almost 3 months, and never seen Makiaha, Bob Newbie is kl, KazeNoYouko, Bayoubash, Bella Goth, Matta jr or TheDataMonster on. Duskey is who knows where, and Bleeh is inactive. This is no longer a smalll wiki, we need more admins. Do you agree with me (also, please do not think I want the admin requests open only so that I can become one, I am just trying to suggest it.) Is it possible for two non Vampire parents to get a random Vampire Baby/Toddler/Child through adoption?
