Re: Student Union

French names are a literal translation of English names:
Student Union -> Union des étudiants
LFT Student Union -> Union des étudiants de FLF
Le Tour Student Center - > Centre communautaire LaTour

But in French it reflects a student organization and not really a building. I hope to have answered your question.

PS: Sorry, I made a mistake, I mixed up "Student Union" and "Greek House", the French translation for "Student Union" is "Union des étudiants", not "Association étudiante".

Re: Language userboxes

OMG stalker! Don't worry, I have THREE pages from wikipedia defining the numerical differences. I figured if we have wikis in other languages, why not let people know that you're bi-lingual. And more userboxes is always good for the community. Ah yes, I'll be sure to capitalize the language name.

Main page blog listing

I think Uberfuzzy removed the toc class to test something out, I submitted a bug report because the 'rating hearts' clipped into the 'read full post' link. I fixed it now by removing the toc class again, but also tweaking the CSS to make it look exactly like it did before, check it out. Duskey(talk) 21:04, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

Vandalism

This user 92.0.112.152 vandalised some pages like Brandi Broke, he/she cleaned almost all content of her page, I fixed with historic, he/she also deleted the player stories template from some player stories, I also fixed. The user vandalised 1 more page this time was Stella Roth/Player stories he/she deleted the player stories template again, I think he/she does not care about our warnings because he/she continues to do the same things. I also wrote a message in his/her talk page. Hmm, it seemed to me that they were both trying to spread some sort of player tip. I just wanted a second opinion on the sock but as you said above about WhatZitToYa not noticing that s/he is not logged in, I think that that could be excused (as the user didn't really abuse privaliges). Indeed. I DO miss OFB a lot, especially all the whackyness when the robota malfunctioned. Imagine those robots available in TS3, where you can make them 'perfect' through the skill challenge. I also miss the business aspect a lot. The real-estate system and consignment store of Ambitions just doesn't quite cut it. Not to mention that TS2 Servos can kick TS3 SimBots' posterior any day. Warnings

Hey Dharden, I noticed a few warnings from you weren't inserted using the subst thingy. Make sure to include it before the warning template. Eg. {{warning|<etc>}} Duskey(talk) 03:02, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Substitution covers it nicely, but what I'm thinking of specifically are templates for use on user talk pages, these templates tend to stay a long time, such as welcome messages and warnings. If the template changes it'll change on the user talk page too if it's not substituted. To quote the WP page: The archives of a user's talk page should show the actual welcome message they received, not the current welcome message. This goes for all templates used on user talk pages in my opinion. It's a huge mess if we have to go edit templates on user talk pages when they change. I've created Template:Subst template & Category:Subst templates to identify these templates. When issuing warnings you can either copy+paste from the template, the Admin Portal or simply type {{subst:Warning|reason=|~~~~}}. Duskey(talk) 18:29, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

That's actually a nice way of explaining it in a simple manner, I was stuck on explaining why :p You COULD say a template merely borrows the text and returns it, while a substituted template buys the text and keeps it. Maid Article

Hi Dharden ! Sorry bother you one more time, its about Maid article in section Sims 3 there is one phrase that says that "Kaylynn Langerak, an important character in The Sims 2, is only a child when The Sims 3 begins, and is not a maid. However, it is possible to make her one when she grows up." Is that true because I don´t think so, even with cheats I never could do it.

Well, I don't like to make decisions without talking it out and getting relevant information. What would be really great would be a place for admins to discuss this stuff, but there really is no good place on this wiki to do it, since everything is accessible by others.
