Unblock request has been declined

ILoveSims5 (talk · contribs · editcount · block · modify rights · logs · block log)

Request reason: I Promise I Won't Vandalize Anything Anymore

Decline reason: Your response simply does not convince me. Not only did you continue to vandalize a template despite multiple warnings, but you also created countless sockpuppet accounts, all of which were blocked upon discovery. Please re-file a new request explaining what you are going to do once you are unblocked. Remember - unblocks are a privilege, not a right. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 23:28, May 4, 2014 (UTC)

An administrator has reviewed your unblock request, but has chosen to decline your request at this time, for the reason(s) listed above.

If you want to make another unblock request, simply add "{{Unblock|1 = Your Reason Here}}" to your talk page. Remember that you need to convince the administrators that your block is either 1. No longer necessary, 2. Unjustified, or 3. Made in error. If you make too many unconvincing unblock requests, or if you abuse this privilege, your ability to edit your talk page may be revoked.

Administrators: If you are unsure of how to use this system, please see the documentation.

Unblock request has been declined

Request reason: I Will Use My Account Wisely and Really Won't Do Anymore Bad Things I Will Use This as a Privilege

Decline reason: I'm still not convinced. Persistently creating sockpuppet accounts simply gives me the impression that, as soon as I lift the block, you will be back to tearing at the templates again, like a lion that's been caged but is still glaring at the little boy he wants to rip to shreds. Granted, I did see your sockpuppets apparently create some fanons, but repeatedly trying to evade your block is what concerns me. I would advise you to see this page, which details what an unblock request should contain. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 23:44, May 4, 2014 (UTC)

Unblock request has been declined

ILoveSims5 (talk · contribs · editcount · block · modify rights · logs · block log)

Request reason: I Was Only Trying To Use Templates To See If They Worked But Now I Make Real Fanons Without a Template I Make It Myself

Decline reason: And that's related to your block, how exactly?

You've had more than enough chances to turn yourself around and here you are still wasting our time by telling us stuff that's completely irrelevant to your block. I'm not convinced you even know what you did wrong, nor am I convinced that unblocking you would be a good idea. Talk page access revoked. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 20:45, May 5, 2014 (UTC)

Regarding Block and unblock

While I actually believe you have a good intention to make fanons as k6ka has noted in your second declined unblock requests, trying to make sockpuppets to circumvent the block will not help you, no, it will ultimately turn the admins against you. While I'm for restoring the talk page editing privileges, I will say that should we grant that right (I will hold on that) and you abuse it without any sign of improvement, I will revoke my current position. I still am of the impression that you may vandalize the Sims3 template (although I'm of the thought that it's because of the inexperience at the time). MILK FOR THE UNYUUFEX, FLAT CHEST FOR THE CUTENESS THRONE, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL PROBES (user talk:Mathetesalexandrou) 20:58, May 5, 2014 (UTC)

I would like to take the time to explain this block to you, ILoveSims5. You were blocked for persistently editing templates, namely Template:Family3, Template:Sim3, and the test/documentation for those pages. You received multiple warnings on this very talk page, all asking you to stop editing those templates. When you persisted, naturally, we blocked you.

Since then you created multiple sockpuppet accounts. A sockpuppet is another name for an "alternative account". A user that operates more than one account is known as a "Sockpuppeter" and all their accounts (excluding their main account) are known as "sockpuppets". While sockpuppets can have legitimate uses, evading a block is not one of them. You persistently created accounts in an attempt to get around your block, and all of them were blocked upon discovery.

While you were blocked (and while we were still on the lookout for your sockpuppets, and we still are), Wikia retired their "Email this User" feature, which prompted the development of our unblock system. With the system in operation, LiR (LostInRiverview) blocked one of your sockpuppets (as usual) but also lifted the restriction of talk page access for your main account (this one). The goal was to give you a chance to request an unblock and discuss the matter with other editors. However, you merely sent us pointless unblock requests, so we revoked your talk page access once more.

If you want to be unblocked: First things first - STOP creating more sockpuppet accounts to get around your block! We will not consider lifting your block if you continue to try and forcefully get around it. If you do not create any more sockpuppet accounts to try and evade your block, in a few months we may decide to grant you access to your talk page again and continue the discussion. You may be able to discuss this on IRC, but if you abuse that privilege, we might close that door as well.

When you request unblock, remember that you need to convince the administrators that your block is no longer necessary, and that you will not repeat your disruptive behavior again.

If you need help, you should ask at our Help Desk.

I'll leave things as they are for now. TBH, I don't like seeing users being blocked either, but that's not reason enough for us to stop blocking. In the next few months, study this page, reflect on what you did wrong and why you were blocked, and when talk page access is granted again, present a meaningful, sincere, and convincing unblock request. And don't create any more sockpuppets!
