Veronaville is one of the three premade neighborhoods in The Sims 2 base game. The names of all the Sims in Veronaville are based on characters from the plays of William Shakespeare, including Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, King Lear, Othello, Macbeth, Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Taming of the Shrew. The neighbourhood itself is also full of Shakespeare references, such as "Stratford Street," "Stratford Strip," "Bard Boulevard," "Globe Street," "Chorus Court," "Pentameter Parkway," and "Avon Avenue."
