The KraftMatic Woodworking Table is very useful, as it raises a Sim's Mechanical skill when using it, and it can make gnomes that can later be sold. Of course, the higher a Sim's Mechanical skill is, the better the gnomes will be, and the higher the price they will sell for. At first, gnomes might only sell for §1, but as more are made, and as the Sim's Mechanical skill improves, they will increase in price, the maximum being §100. Sims can kick a gnome when they are in a bad mood... but they can sometimes explode, knocking the Sim off his or her feet.

This basic workbench comes complete with saw, mallet, chisel and vise. Increase your home improvement skills while creating unique objects for display or sale. Whether you are making decorative lawn ornaments, or miniature sculptures of loved ones, The KraftKing is guaranteed to blow you away!

The Sims 4 reintroduces Woodworking Table to the game. With a bit of Handiness, Sims can make wooden sculptures and furniture, either for use or to make money.

Sims can make Emotional Sculptures from the Woodworking Table. There are four varieties: Flirty, Angry, Sad and Playful. Having level 2 in Handiness and one of those emotion, Sims can make these sculptures for §7. Sims who have the Expressionistic Reward Trait can produce them without the emotion condition.

In The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat, Sims can Learn Woodworking Schematic from the large wooden mascot. They can then make smaller version of it on the Woodworking Table.

Item Quality

All crafted items will have various levels of quality, ranging from poor, normal and excellent. Poor quality furniture will have jagged looks and be uncomfortable for Sims. Excellent items, however, sell for much higher prices and have better stats on comfort and environment. Being focused will help immensely with woodworking, increasing the chances of crafting items of excellent quality. Sims who are experiencing specific emotions and have reached level two in handiness can also craft emotional sculptures.
