Alan Cho is one of the pre-made townies in Bluewater Village from The Sims 2: Open for Business. He can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. Alan is employed in the Criminal career as a Counterfeiter at the start of the game, and he is mainly interested in Environment, Culture, Money, Paranormal, and Fashion.

Alan's relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game. He has the same facial structure as Alvin Futa. Even though Alan has brown hair, his SimDNA in SimPE confirms that his natural hair color is red. He has a bronze talent badge in Toy Making. Alan's name is randomized when Bluewater Village is generated. The name "Alan Cho" is only referenced in the game files.

The outfit Alan wears in-game is different from the one displayed in his default thumbnail. This happens with several other Bluewater Village townies. His outfit comes from the Nightlife expansion pack. Because of this, Alan's outfit will not show up correctly unless Nightlife is installed, and he will instead wear the outfit displayed in his default thumbnail, or otherwise a random outfit.
