Alastair Baldwin is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the husband of Kimberly Baldwin, the father of Sylvester Baldwin, the paternal grandfather of Benjamin Baldwin, and the paternal great-grandfather of Sofia and Marcus Baldwin. Alastair is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the Romance aspiration, and the Pisces zodiac sign. As far as personality, Alastair is quite active and nice, and a little bit neat. But he is quite shy and serious.

According to Alastair's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 19 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Alastair's facial structure is identical to the 3rd Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except for the ever so slightly customized upper lip. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However Alastair still has memories of Sylvester's birth, as well as his grandson Benjamin getting engaged and married.
