Claire Ursine is a Sim that appears in The Sims 3. She lives alone by the beach in Sunset Valley and loves to fish. She works in the criminal career track. She is also pregnant with her first child, the father being her next-door neighbor, Jared Frio. Will you have Claire change to a more upstanding job or groom her child into following her path?
Claire has 7 skill points in the fishing skill. She also has 3 skill points in the athletic skill, but she needs 7 points for her job. Claire is good friends with River McIrish, and is acquainted with Sandi French, Fiona McIrish, Connor Frio, and her boss, Ayesha Ansari. She dislikes her ex-boyfriend, Jared Frio, very much. Due to her kleptomaniac and hot headed traits, it's possible that Claire was very abusive and stole his belongings, cheated on him with his brother Connor, and may have gotten pregnant on purpose, only to dump Jared and make him look like the bad guy.
It is rumored that Claire Ursine is to be identified with Claire the Bear from The Sims, due to the first name similarity as well as Ursine's closeness to ursa. Additionally, one meaning of "ursine" is "suggesting or characteristic of a bear".
If the pregnancy is left alone, the baby will be a girl most of the time, and she often devolopes a higher relationship with her father, than her mother.
