Clarence Philippine is a member of the Gearheads from the Magic secret sub-neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He appears in every neighborhood, being occasional the neighbor of Sims who live in a low apartment. He can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him.

Like all pre-made townies, Clarence's relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game. He is employed in the Culinary career as a Dishwasher at the start of the game. However his career will randomly change to match his social class, when he moves in as a neighbor or is searched as a possible roommate.

As far as personality, Clarence is somewhat neat, active, and nice. But he is quite shy and somewhat serious. Clarence doesn't have any pre-set skill points, which probably explains why he is still at level 1 of his career. He is mostly interested in Paranormal, Sports, and Work. Clarence has the same facial structure as Luc Shin.
