Don Calamari is a pre-made adult Sim from Bitville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. He is the owner of Don Calamari's and a friend of Vincent Moore. Don Calamari's is Vincent's favorite restaurant. Don appears only once in Vincent's story, giving Vincent a gift as an apology to the incident that happens during Vincent and Alexa Starr's sabotaged date. During the date Alexa says she adores the coffee at Don's place.

Don becomes playable at the end of Vincent's story and can be found in the family bin. Don is unemployed. He has the Popularity aspiration and the Aries zodiac sign. He has no skill points at the start of the game, and his interests are randomized when he is first spawned in-game, as he has not been initialised. When he is first moved onto a lot, he is 29 days from being an elder. It is only referenced in the game files that he only has 1 day left. Don has bottom fitness at the start of the game.

Even though in the story, Don is introduced as Vincent's friend, they will only think of each other as "Just Met" at the end of the story, unless the player chooses to have Vincent build his relationship with Don. His name could be a reference to the Mon Calamari, an alien race from Star Wars. He has no preset gender preference, thus the first Sim to flirt with him or check him out will determine his preferences. With his family funds, he can purchase any of the three empty homes; the ideal home for him is the house next to his restaurant, which seems intended for him. He was the final Sim created for Bitville, an oddity, as he is far below all of the townies and NPCs, while most of the playables are up top. It is likely he was either rebuilt after data corruption of his original Sim, or a last minute addition.
