• Ben's facial structure is deliberately based on that of Bob Bramble and Colony Drone 1000101. There is no real reason for it, I just felt like making Ben so.
• Ben suffers from Pyrophobia, i.e. the fear of fire. This is due to a traumatic experience when a thunderstorm started multiple fires which sent him into Aspiration failure.
• Is friends with Julien Cooke, the former owner of his house.
• Ben has the painting "Bella Squared" in his house, he is very attached to it.
