Buck Grunt is the youngest child of General Buzz Grunt and his late ex-wife Lyla Grunt. He is married to Jill Grunt (formerly Smith), and is the father of twin boys James and Buchanan.

Buck is the uncle to Natasha and Brick Grunt through his brother Tank, and Gertrude and Dana Grunt through his brother Ripp. He is also an uncle through marriage to Dimitri Smith through his wife's brother Johnny.
