Rénata Dortheimer is a member of the wealthy and extremely large Dortheimer family. She is Marigold's daughter, and is subsequently a part of the 7th generation of the family. She is among the many evil Sims in the family.

Clothing[edit | edit source]

From Childhood to her last moments, Rénata always wore the same kind of dress: A long black dress with lilac skulls on it. The flower in her hair and her shoes also are lilac.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Childhood and Teen Years[edit | edit source]

Rénata was born as a ghost in Sunset Valley in a Tudor house on the cliffs, near Agnes Crumplebottom's house. Her father indeed died in a trap set by his mean and cruel wife: Marigold, who was pregnant at the time, was a great inventor, and she exploded a car when Benoît was nearby (the explosion also killed Marigold's late brother Valentin's wife Nadine). However, the child happened to be a boy, Joël Dortheimer, and Marigold really wanted a girl. She resurrected her husband. After another try, they had a child in the future, a girl named Léna Dortheimer. However, when she came back, Léna was already an Elder and she couldn't have kids. The last try resulted in Rénata.

Rénata inherited of her mother evilness. She was raised with her brother and her cousin Alexandre, son of Nadine and Valentin. She loved to torture them a lot, and the two boys quickly became enemies with her (moreover, they were pretty scared by the fact that Rénata was a ghost). However, she was best friends with her sister.

Léna died of old age when Rénata became a teen. However, she remained a little childish after that. She got a part-time job at her favorite place in town: the mausoleum, and got good grades at school. There she met a cute (and wealthy) guy, called Yannick, who will become her unfortunate husband later. She enjoyed a lot looking at the stars, and mastered her Logic skill rather quickly. She also befriended her ancestors, buried in the family graveyard. She idolized her gruesome great-grandmother, Astrid, whom she met as a ghost, who was a great criminal with an unfortunate ending, and Rénata wanted to become just like her.

She was partly responsible for Iqbal Alvi's death: she was invited at a party on the beach, and she distracted Iqbal by talking to him while he was cooking hot dogs. This resulted in a fire that burned Iqbal. Rénata, who was already a fiery ghost, wasn't damaged at all.

Adulthood[edit | edit source]

She became a young adult five days after her brother and two after her cousin, and immediately began to work in the Crime. She also developped a passion for exotic destinations and began to travel a lot.

During her life, she travelled more than a dozen of time, vanquished Dong Huo, discovered the origins of nectar, mastered her Martial Arts skills and worked with MorcuCorp, which was at the time under the control of a distant relative, Margaux Dortheimer. She brought back tons of various treasures, including old and very expensive nectars (one was worth 113000§) and many precious gems. At the end of her globe-trotter life, she had a 3-level Visa for every destinations, became friends with many locals and visited nearly every tombs.

Her first travel in Egypt had however deadly consequences. She brought back a sarcophagus and placed it in the attic. This resulted in Alexander's transformation into a mummy, and Marigold was cursed. She did not know how to cure this and died after a crimeful life. The others thought it was a punishment for all her misdeeds. Only Rénata was saddened into her death, since her cousin and brother both were nice and careful guys.

She married Yannick Yahlsybergh, and he and his parents Dona and Rollo moved in. However, they were already very old, and quickly died of old age. She had two daughters with him, Mathilde and Gloria Dortheimer. During this time, she climbed the social ladder and became a Henchwoman. She also became best friends with the local burglar Twyla Summers and her boss Claire Ursine.

Her brother died electrocuted the same day Mathilde became a child and inherited of her mother's nastiness. Then she did the same thing that many other of her family members had done before and after her: she locked her husband and her good cousin in their bedroom and starved them in order to be the only owner of her husband's fortune and enlarging her own, which was already considerable.

As an Adult, she continued to travel around the world and reached the top of the criminal career track, fulfilling her lifetime wish. She also mastered her Athletic skill. She has a rather calm life until her daughter wedding. Mathilde, whose fondest wish being to see the ghost of her spouse, married another gold digger, Alejandro Manzarez. He moved in with his mother Carmen, and had twin girls with Mathilde: Sierra and Orsolina. After that, a battle began to see which one would ice the other first. Rénata helped her daughter thanks to her experience, but Alejandro, whose ghost-hunting mother was too nice to murder someone, realized it, and wanted to eliminate Rénata, and tried to lock her into a room. This could have worked if Rénata wasn't a ghost. She passed through the wall and drowned him into the pool. After that, Rénata and Mathilde became best friends forever.

Carmen died of old age, and the twins grew up well. Gloria made fortune in Journalism, Mathilde in ghost-hunting and Rénata dominated the world without any particular event.

Elderhood[edit | edit source]

She then grew into an elder and retired after being arrested (she escaped by going straight through the jail thanks to her ghost status). She helped Mathilde into raising Sierra and Orsolina, and spent much time into playing chess and going on trips to earlier and later ages with the time machine her mother once built. She however returned to Netherworld and was buried next to her dear great-grandmother.
