Biography
With bright red hair and swollen muscles, Yuri Powell was the one to beat at SimNation's twenty-seventh annual LumberCon. While adoring fans lined up to console him after an unexpected second-place finish, it was a tattooed blonde with a heavenly-smelling plate of cookies caught his eye. Without knowing why, in that moment he fell for her, and he's never stopped -- though he gave her love, constant vacations, and unlimited resources, she never could promise fidelity, the only thing he ever asked of her. Long past his prime, will thoughts of what might have been drive him to realize the time is long gone to keep making excuses?

Yuri Powell is a Sim living in the newly renovated town of Newcrest. He resides in the Ridgeline Drive neighborhood, occupying one of its three residential properties, Cookout Lookout, along with his wife Rayn Powell. At the beginning of the game, Yuri has been an Elder for around three days, making him approximately eighty-five days old.

A former celebrity, competitive lumberjack and professional Bodybuilder, Yuri was once employed in the Bodybuilder branch of the Athletic career as a Champion Bodybuilder, but has since retired to spend more time at home in his old age. Along with Loukiya Rashid, he is the only Sim in Newcrest to have completed his Aspiration of Bodybuilder, thus awarding him with with the "Long Lived" reward trait. Despite their differences, Yuri shares a number of interests with his wife, including food and travel; in addition to mastering the Fitness skill and his prowess in Fishing, he possesses skill points in Archaeology and Selvadoradian Culture from their frequent trips to Selvadorada.

Yuri carries an assortment of fish and an archaeology table in his inventory.

• Although having gone grey in his old age, Yuri's hair was naturally light red.
