In The Sims: Livin' Large, the Sky Scorcher Fireworks Kit can be bought in Buy mode for §90. It is a rocket on a stand, which Sims can fire for fun. When fired, the rocket will rise into the air, then come back to ground and explode. The rocket can start a fire if it hits something flammable, and will start a fire if it is used indoors.
If the players launch the rocket and pause just before it lands on the ground, the players can grab the rocket in Buy mode with the moveobjects cheat. The rocket will be named as "*Toy Rocket - Down/Explosion" and can be sold for §2,300. This can only be done if the rocket is headed downwards towards the ground and not when it has just been launched.
The Sims 2[edit | edit source]
With The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff, Sims can buy and use party poppers, noisemakers, crackers, firework fountains and sparklers. Sometimes, crackers may malfunction and burn a Sim.

Fireworks can be bought at Shang Simla Market for 75 simoleons or the grocery store in home neighborhoods. Fireworks can also be purchased via the buydebug cheat. Sims light them and watch fireworks displays. These are best viewed from Map View.
A wide varieties of fireworks are included in various expansion packs, including World Adventures, Seasons, Katy Perry's Sweet Treats, and the Toyota Prius Pack from the Store.
A display involving five or more packets of fireworks will result in the Saw Great Fireworks Show moodlet, offering a mood boost of +10 for 16 hours.
Similar to The Sims: Livin' Large, if fireworks are set off indoors, a fire will start. This can be an effective way to kill off other Sims, as the Sim lighting the fireworks will generally run away before they go off.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Sims watching fireworks will clap and cheer. Sims cannot use fireworks inside a room.
- A Sim lighting fireworks in a Graveyard will awake some ghosts and sometimes get Simoleons for entertaining them.
