A hospital is a rabbit hole in The Sims 3.
If pregnant Sims don't want to give birth at home, they go there when their time comes.
This is where Sims can get a job in the Medical Career or get medical advice, for a fee. With The Sims 3: Pets, Sims can undergo plastic surgery at the Hospital, which allows players to change Sim's bodies or faces.
This is one of the properties players can partner with and own in The Sims 3 and gives the biggest long-term payoff from revenue.[1]

Sunset Valley & Bridgeport

Sims may become a business partner with this hospital for §30,000, which allows them to pick up §6,000 of its profits every Monday at 9:00 AM.
The Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital is probably a reference to Sacred Heart from the TV show Scrubs. It is near the Doo Peas Corporate Tower and, ironically, the fast food diner in Sunset Valley, while in Bridgeport it is on its own estate with a large, landscaped, front garden.
Riverview

Twinbrook

The Twinbrook Foundation Hospital is the hospital located in Twinbrook. It costs the same amount to be a partner here as any other hospital. It is located near the river, behind the police station.
Appaloosa Plains

The Wolfson's Hospital and Research Facility is the hospital located in Appaloosa Plains. It also serves as a science lab. Price to buy partnership is $70,000, weekly payment is $14,000.
