Marabel Goldbeard is a pre-made deceased Sim who once lived in Barnacle Bay in the nineteenth century. She died of Drowning as a child and is buried in the Barnacle Boneyard, where she is the oldest ghost (in terms of birth date instead of life stage). She is Eleanor Goldbeard's much younger sister. She is one of the few ghosts who has a bio. She has a pale green skin, like every other deceased Sim in Barnacle Bay.

She is one of the five children who died young the other are Opal Suarley in Sunset Valley who died by drowning, Kirsten Remington in Riverview who also died by drowning, Davey Moans, who was burned to death, and Wilhelmina Leaf who oddly died by Electrocution (a type of death that is unavailable to children).
