Marigold Maldano Biography Marigold's only other known relative, Uncle Terry, recently died in a freak bug-zapper accident. She, like all the Maldanos before her, is considered either "quirky" or "insane", depending on who you ask. Marigold has a happy, sunny disposition, but she’s been unlucky in love. Her latest attempt at love was with Gladsten Farmwell, but he broke things off after she tried to make dinner and burned his salmon. Marigold Maldano is a pre-made Fairy residing in Moonlight Falls. Her lifetime wish is to have the Perfect Garden despite the fact that she does not have the Green Thumb or Loves the Outdoors Traits. The same situation occurred with Cornelia Goth of Sunset Valley. Marigold's bio states that she has no other known relatives, as her "Uncle Terry" died recently. She starts off with 5 skill points in cooking and carries two books in her inventory. The uncle who is mentioned in her biography, was the last of her relatives and died in a "freak bug-zapper accident". Terry has no grave and/or urn in town. The bug zapper death was probably caused by Terry flying into said zapper, while in shrunken fairy form. Her household also states that she has a deceased grandmother, though no grave and/or urn is shown in town for said grandmother.

Marigold is best friends forever with Helen Hall, best friends with Haley Sumari, good friends with David Pok and Deedee Wynn, and friends with Alice Fitzgerald. She is also distant friends with Malcolm Harris and ex-girlfriend to Gladsten Farmwell, with whom she has very little relationship.

Marigold Maldano appears to be a parody of Sookie Stackhouse, of True Blood, as both are descended from Fairies and have a deceased Grandmother. She shares this parody with Susie Sackholme of Dragon Valley.

Her name comes from the flower of the same name. She has the insane trait, despite her insanity being mere speculation on the part of others, as listed in her bio.

• Her uncle, Terry, might refer to Terry Moldano from Starlight Shores. However, he died from watery grave and his surname is spelled differently.
