Mercutio Monty is a pre-made teen Sim, living in the Veronaville neighborhood. He is the grandson of Patrizio and Isabella Monty and the son of deceased Claudio and Olivia Monty and the older brother of Romeo Monty. He works part-time as a Drive Through Clerk from the Culinary track. He and Romeo are enemies with Tybalt Capp, because of the Monty/Capp family feud. He and Puck Summerdream, both have crushes on Hermia Capp and vice-versa, which might be a problem. Miranda Capp also has a crush on Mercutio.

When you first play the Monty family, Romeo will invite Juliette Capp over. Mercutio will insult her and possibly fight Tybalt. When you play Puck's family, he's having a party, and Hermia and Mercutio are present. Both Puck and Hermia want to have their "first kiss" with each other. If Mercutio witnesses this, he will be furious at both of them.

Although he is generally nice and jovial, Mercutio, unlike Romeo, isn't doing too well in school. He also has a negative memory for everything except being potty-trained, which is odd considering most Sims have quite a few good memories.

Romeo's memories state that the two are best friends. Mercutio doesn't have this memory. This was probably a mistake made by developers.

Mercutio is the witty friend of Romeo, and kinsman to the Prince, in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. He is killed by Tybalt, who is later killed by Romeo.
