Myron Oldie is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Irma Oldie, the father of Herb Oldie, who became the husband of Coral Oldie (néeRuggbyrne), the adoptive grandfather of Mary-Sue Pleasant (néeOldie), who was adopted by Herb and Coral, and the adoptive great-grandfather of Angela and Lilith Pleasant, the twin daughters of Mary-Sue and her husband Daniel Pleasant. Although Myron is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his son Herb, and adoptive granddaughter Mary-Sue.
According to Herb's memories, Myron passed away right after Mary-Sue got adopted. His wife Irma passed away earlier, after their son, Herb, got engaged. According to Myron's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was blond before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 30 days left in the elderlife stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, Myron is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. He uses a character portrait pose that was discontinued during development. Despite his aspiration, Myron isn't interested in Money.
