Life leading up to The Sims 3
Omar resided, during his lifetime, in Lucky Palms, one of the neighborhoods that is available through The Sims 3 Store. He was the husband of Mariana Matlapin, and the father of Darleen Dreamer (née Matlapin). Sometime before the start of The Sims 2, Omar and his wife both died of unknown causes. Their daughter later moved to Pleasantview, which is where she married Darren Dreamer, and gave birth to Dirk Dreamer, who is Omar's grandson.
Life leading up to The Sims 2
Omar is featured in The Sims 2 as one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with the game. Although he is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his grandson Dirk Dreamer.
According to Omar's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was brown before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 38 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, he is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. His grave can not be found anywhere, so it was most likely deleted.
Though Omar's character data was deleted, regenerating him with SimPE is a tad easier than most dead ancestors, as his facial features are almost, if not identical to that of the 7th Maxis face template in Create a Sim, unlike most "unresurrectable" Sims that have customized facial features.
Resurrection tip
This Sim has no character data and cannot be resurrected in-game. For more information, read
this guide.
