Pao Gast is one of the pre-made NPC carpool drivers who resides in the Free Play version of Four Corners, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. The other two carpool drivers are Danielle Fancey and Jill Hanby. Like all carpool drivers, he can't be made playable without cheats. Pao has short curly red hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin. He is a Family Sim with the Cancer zodiac sign. As far as personality, Pao is extremely playful and somewhat nice. But he is somewhat sloppy, shy, and lazy.

When it comes to Pao's skill points, he has maximized the creativity skill, and is well on the way towards maximizing the cooking and logic skills. He is mostly interested in Weather and Travel. Pao has the same facial structure as Ian Tan. He can easily be cloned in Create a Sim with debugging mode on. Pao's turn ons/offs are randomized at the start of the game. It is only referenced in the game files that he has no turn ons/offs. Often going unnoticed, Pao has 28 personality points instead of the usual 25.
