A Plumbot is the new life state that will be included with The Sims 3: Into the Future. There will be a "Create-A-Bot" feature, which will allow Plumbots to be customizable to some extent, and they will be able to have up to seven "trait chips".[1] The Plumbot is shown in the announce trailer and in some promotional images.

Create-A-Bot

Plumbots can be created inside a special machine and can be customize like sims, but in the robotic way. The player can choose some parts to his/her plumbot: Gender, Fatness and Age, Head, Body, Arms and Legs, and color the parts. [2]

Basics

The very top button of the five tabs is basics where the player chooses a name, the age body shape and skin tone of their Sim.

Create-A-Bot

Create-A-Bot

First Name: Type in the Plumbot's first name.

Last Name: Type in the Plumbot's last name.

Gender: Choose either Male or Female. The Male (♂) or Female (♀).

Age: It's unknown how much life stages Plumbots have.

Weight: Thin, Fat or Middle

Possible - Voice and Traits

Head

Plumbots have different heads to chose from.

Body/Torso

The player can choose torso from the collection.

Arms

The player can choose arms from the collection.

Legs

The player can choose legs or hover bottom from the collection.
