Raul Aspir is a pre-made deceased ancestral Sim who resided during his lifetime in Desiderata Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: FreeTime. He was the son of Manuel and Paulina Aspir, the husband of Larisa Aspir (née Kozlov), the father of Luis Aspir, the brother in-law of Katerina Una (née Kozlov), the uncle of Natasha Una, the grandfather of Victor Aspir, and the great grandfather of Pauline Aspir. Raul is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave.

He has the Popularity aspiration, and the Capricorn zodiac sign. As far as personality, Raul is very playful, quite neat, and a little bit nice. But he is very lazy, and somewhat shy. According to Raul's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was brown before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 13 days left in the elder life stage when he died.

Raul uses the 2nd Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the ears and eyes which use the 16th face template. Also the jaw is slightly longer. However the jaw is only longer on teenage, adult, and elder females, which may mean that the jaw was genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down.

His SimDNA in SimPE shows that his recessive alleles are for black hair and dark blue eyes. Strangely, his son Luis' memories show that he taught Raul to walk. This was a mistake made by the developers and was meant to be a memory of Raul teaching Luis to walk. Oddly, he has a memory of his daughter-in-law's death, which is seemingly a mistake, as not only is this very unlikely in real life as she died as an elder, but his son's memories state that he died before he even met Noriko.

Raul is the French or Spanish form of Ralph, from the Norse Radulfr, comprised of wolf and counsel.
