Romon Tanner is a pre-made Sim from Lucky Palms. He lives with his wife Aya and their children Ethan and Yuna. Both of them are expecting another child shortly at the start of the game. Romon is a famous chef in Lucky Palms who work as Chef du Cuisine at The Blooming Cactus Bistro. The Tanner family come from a long line of excellent chefs who are famous for their home grown culinary skills. Romon is a 4-star celebrity, famous for his cooking abilities. He met his wife when Aya when she interviewed him for her employer at the time, a prominent culinary magazine. They ended up falling in love with each other and got married.

As the household bio says, Romon is enemies with Lennon Sosa, who is a pastry chef at The Blooming Cactus Bistro. Lennon is a 3-star celebrity and is said to have graduated from the prestigious Fromage Grille cooking school, where he learned his formal cooking skills as opposed to the 'home grown' culinary skills of Romon Tanner's family.

Romon is a Natural Cook, and he is Ambitious to climb up his career in the Culinary career. His lifetime wish is to become the Culinary Librarian, which is to learn all recipes. He is disliked by Lola Lancaster, who is Lennon's ex-girlfriend, which means that at the time when they're engaged in relationship, Lola is also involved between Romon and Lennon's rivalry.

There's a deceased Sim in the Sunwest Graveyard named Astrid Tanner. Although she doesn't appear in the family tree, it could be implied that she is Romon's mother.
