Need grass? There's some here. Actually, there's a lot here. Scavenger Field is also the site of the mysterious Stone Oddities -- strange relics of an ancient, some say alien, presence.
Scavenger Fields is a community lot in the center of Felicity Island, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Castaway Stories. Like all community lots, it can be visited by using the travel map. A path to the east leads to the Crossroads while a path to the south leads to the Village Market.
In the Shipwrecked and Single story, the protagonist follows Professor Rhinehart's advice to cut long grass at the Scavenger Fields to weave a sail for the raft. After cutting all the grass that is needed, Nanihi Manave shows up and gets chased into a tree by a pack of hyenas. The protagonist throws the bone that they had picked up at the Boneyard to distract the hyenas and save Nanihi.
Scavenger Fields also features a mini-game, called Singing Stones. Whenever the Singing Stones show a pattern, it must be replicated. When the pattern has been replicated, the Singing Stones will illuminate green lights. When the pattern is different, red lights will illuminate instead and the mini-game ends.
