Talin Deppiesse is a member of the Techs from the Magic secret sub-neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He appears in every neighborhood, being occasional the neighbor of Sims who live in a middle-high apartment. He can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. Despite sharing the same surname, there is no evidence that he is related to Abhijeet Deppiesse.

Like all pre-made townies, Talin's relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game. He is employed in the Culinary career as a Dishwasher at the start of the game. However his career will randomly change to match his social class, when he moves in as a neighbor or is searched as a possible roommate.

As far as personality, Talin is quite active and nice, and a little bit neat. But he is quite shy and serious. Talin doesn't have any pre-set skill points, which probably explains why he is still at level 1 of his career. He is mostly interested in Environment, Culture, Politics, Paranormal, and Entertainment.

Talin has the same facial structure as Curtis Ryan. He shares his last name with Deppiesse's Diner, a building in SimCity 4. Talin can be identified by his wide cheekbones, hooked nose and pompadour hairstyle. He looks somewhat similar to Zeeshan Collins. Despite his career, Talin isn't interested in Food.
