Unlike his dad though, Tristan has a strong romantic streak in him, and he often stays up late composing love ballads on his guitar. He hopes to be a world famous musician someday. Although he has had many first dates, it's getting to that second date that's always eluded him. He might seem quiet or even brooding to most, but Tristan knows he's just saving up his most powerful emotions for that one special Sim...'
Tristan Van Gould is a premade vampire living in Moonlight Falls with his father, Ayden Van Gould, and sister, Emelie Van Gould. Tristan has a passion for music and romance. At the start of the game, he has level 6 in guitar skill and carries a guitar and a copy of "Seanaces and Sixth Sense Abilities" in his inventory.
At the start of the game, if fellow Moonlight Falls resident Bailey Swain is directed to the lot, Tristan will often perform the "Shy Kiss" interaction, making them Romantic Interests. Bailey is a likely parody of Bella Swan, as Tristan is probably a parody of Edward Cullen.
Tristan is likely a spoof of Edward Cullen from Twilight. Like Edward, he has a possible human love interest and enjoys staying up late to play an instrument (a guitar for him and a piano for Edward). Both he and Edward are also brooding vegetarians, vegetarians meaning a vampire that doesnt drink human blood, in Twilight.
According to his bio, he has several first dates, however, he has no romantic or ex-relationships at the start of the game.
Like all other Sims of Moonlight Falls, he has the "New Friend" moodlet at the start of the game.
