Do you have suggestion?[edit source]

Hi Shane, you know, my fanon is about to reach its final phase. I've created some scripts for end Leona and Jean's portions, however, I still confused how to end Chris', and it seems that this story will be longer than Book 1,  do you have any suggestions? --Rizkirafu (talk) 14:24, December 26, 2015 (UTC)

It'll be awhile, but it's worth it[edit source]

Hey Dark, if you ever get the chance, go ahead and let the others know it will be indeed a good while before I ever do any editing or adding; I've been a busy bulldog. I'm currently studying up on The Sims Bustin' Out as I'm experimenting and finding and solving hidden clues and possible mysteries. So far I've found a great amount. Hopefully once I figure it out more I'll hopefully have a page on that states and explains what I've found (and I mean by experience). I miss you guys. Don't bother messaging me; it's fine. I can't get ahold of anyone nor do any proper editing from my ipod, just a heads up. If you do want to message me, do so at chevymistress@icloud.com. I miss you and tell the others I said hi. Thanks and hope to chat again soon.--2014ChevyGirl (talk) 21:18, March 8, 2016 (UTC)

RE: Random block?[edit source]

That's strange because he doesn't seem to be blocked. I checked the block log and it says that he's never been blocked, and I've checked to see if there were any auto-blocks, but the IP block list says that there aren't any auto-blocks. It's possible that the IP address he is or was using at the time may be blocked. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:30, April 29, 2016 (UTC)

How do I let you edit my page? BenBlake (talk) 06:24, May 15, 2016 (UTC)

Mugshots[edit source]

Hi there! Bit of a noob editor (to this wiki), I have a question about your fanon sims. How is it you get the mugshots of your sims? The ones on the main page. Thank you!

Block?[edit source]

Looks like it might have been an autoblock. All I see in the block log for the last 24 hours is a block on Skylarsims; there's nothing that was aimed at you. Dharden (talk) 10:00, June 5, 2016 (UTC)

Well, thanks to that this is the only page I can edit. DarkSuicune2000 19:02, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
Mph... I tried to unblock, and was told (in effect) "I see no BLOCK here". The only thing I can think of that makes any sort of sense is that your IP could have gotten caught in an autoblock generated by a user-block, but that's guesswork on my part. Dharden (talk) 19:14, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
ETA: If I'm right about that, and I'm reading the blocklist right, the block should lift in a couple of hours. Dharden (talk) 19:47, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
If you provided more details about your block (e.g. the block ID) we would've been able to conduct this investigation further and you could've been unblocked sooner. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 20:18, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
The block should be cleared. If it happens again, look for a number in the "you are blocked" notice, and make a note of it. That should be the "block ID" that k6ka mentioned. Autoblocks are anonymized in the blocklist; all that's shown is an ID number. So, in order to remove an autoblock, an admin has to know the block ID, so they can search the blocklist to see if there's an active autoblock with that ID. (And no, I didn't know any of that until this afternoon.) Dharden (talk) 22:34, June 5, 2016 (UTC)

Family Tree[edit source]

Hey! :3 I saw that you left me a message in November 2014 asking for a family tree. I wasn't active at the time and that's why I saw it only now and I'm sorry for that. Do you sill need a family tree? I'd gladly make you one. :) - KaruKaterchen (talk/ fanon) 08:52, June 8, 2016 (UTC)

Alright, will do! But do you have any preferences? Do want the portraits of the deceased sims greyed out and do want little symbols that mark the cause of death? Also, do you want me to include every family member or just those you included on their family page? :) - KaruKaterchen (talk/ fanon) 02:52, June 9, 2016 (UTC)
Edit: Hey, I just finished the family tree! But like I said, if you want anything different (or if I made a mistake) just tell me! :3 - KaruKaterchen (talk/ fanon) 04:02, June 9, 2016 (UTC)
Alright, but that's because you did not answer my questions, where I asked you amongst other things, if you wanted the family tree to look like on your family tree page. But sure, I'll add them. :) - KaruKaterchen (talk/ fanon) 10:08, June 18, 2016 (UTC)

RE: Calendar help[edit source]

I'm not sure why, but it appears that your table needed to have a width set. I went ahead and did the change. – Icemandeaf (talk) 18:52, April 15, 2017 (UTC)

File:GracearthurWooHoo.png has been deleted[edit source]

Hi DarkSuicune2000. I just wanted to let you know that File:GracearthurWooHoo.png, a file you uploaded, has been deleted. According to the logs, this was done by one of Wikia/FANDOM's (our hosting provider) bots. This deletion wasn't initiated by The Sims Wiki, and because of the rationale used, we are unable to restore this file for you. If you have any questions about this deletion, please send them to Wikia/FANDOM Staff, as we don't have any control over this. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:32, August 19, 2018 (UTC)

I wanted to touch base with you about this image as well. Looking at the image (administrators have access to view deleted files), it's pretty clear that the image violates general rule 1 of the Image and File Policy: "Files uploaded to The Sims Wiki may not contain profanity, adult content, or subject matter inappropriate for a general audience." The depiction of fully-nude Sims, even with pixelation, is in my opinion a step too far. Even if the image had not been deleted by FANDOM, I would have deleted it if I saw it.
As per policy, this is technically supposed to be considered as vandalism; however, I believe that you did not intend to violate wiki policy or FANDOM's Terms of Use (TOU) when uploading the image. Vandalism is considered to be the deliberate act of violating policy, so as your actions were not deliberate, they don't fall under the definition of vandalism. Nevertheless, I will advise you to be mindful of the wiki's policies and FANDOM's TOU when uploading content in the future. If you have questions about whether or not an image violates policy, my recommendation would be to either refrain from uploading it, or to share the image with a member of the administrative team (via a third-party service such as Imgur) to make sure it is okay. As with most things, use your best judgment and common sense when deciding whether or not to upload something that might be on the borderline.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me on my talk page. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 01:20, August 20, 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply back. Like I said before, I don't think you intended to do anything wrong; you were acting in good faith. I especially appreciate you letting me know about the other questionable image you uploaded (File:GeorgeBeingNaughty.png) – which I have deleted as well. Nudity and what could be perceived as sexual activity is a tricky area in terms of what is versus what isn't appropriate. Even if actual intercourse wasn't depicted, and even though Sims are not anatomically "complete," the fact is those images imply sexual intercourse in an overt way. Compare those pictures to this image, for example, which depicts intercourse in a less overt and more comic fashion. There definitely is a gray area in between what is and is not permissible, so I don't think it's your fault for inadvertently breaking this particular rule. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 14:42, August 20, 2018 (UTC)
