Amaya Flores is a pre-made playable adult Sim from Garden Heights, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. She is Alice Whitt's best friend. She provides moral support and advice to Alice throughout the Best in Show story. She has a dog Roscoe. Amaya is looking for romance, but only with someone who loves dogs as much as her. She first appears in the story when she comes over to Alice's house with Thomas Jones. Alice explains her financial problem and her decision to enter the dog show to Amaya and Thomas and Amaya gives her an A-frame to train Sam for the dog show.

Amaya meets up with Alice to chat over coffee much later in the story. She also comes to the dog show final at Bartholomew Greens, to support Alice and her dog Sam Whitt. She gets into an argument with another finalist Diana DeBore, who is an enemy of Alice. Alice and Sam end up winning the show.

The day after the dog show final, Amaya is invited over to Alice's house, where the story comes to an end.

After the story, Amaya and Roscoe become playable from their home in 1361 Dargail Lane. Amaya has the Romance aspiration and the Sagittarius zodiac sign.

Even though none of her facial features use any of the broken Maxis face templates in Create a Sim, when Amaya grows into an elder, it becomes clear that her facial features are nonetheless broken.
