Aileen Landing
Aileen LaFontaine's discovery of this moon has raised hope for people from all over the world. Sims from Pleasantview, Strangetown or Veronaville have left their homes for a better future on this moon!


But the environment seems rather intimidating than welcoming! Bizarre gravity. Swirly gas giant hovering over the ominous misty sky. Two pulsating suns?


Is the "New Better" world really a better world?

Aileen Landing is a downloadable custom neighborhood created by Jawusa. The neighborhood comes with scripted events that are here to introduce the new characters and their storylines better to the downloader. They are all independent from each other and can be played in any order, especially since some of them are more open ended and could result in various different scenarios. It can be downloaded here, along with an optional skybox to enhance the alien atmosphere of the neighborhood. Since Aileen Landing is meant to take place on a distant moon of a gas planet.

Furthermore, the timeline of the neighborhood is most likely set far in the future, since there are some descendants with familiar names from Pleasantview, Strangetown and Veronaville wandering around town. What is today known as Aileen Landing or Moon Aileen was originally called Moon Cassiopeia by the Natives, who, by the way, are not aware of the arrival of the Humans (yet) and the Human district is still quite separated from the Alien district.


However, in the upcoming prequel neighborhood Aileen Ascending, they will eventually meet and depending on which version you choose (Utopian or Dystopian Future), the encounter will be either pleasant or... not so pleasant. ^^
