Ara Markab is a pre-made alien sim in Aileen Landing. He is the son of Almaak Markab and Mirzam Markab; the younger brother of Mira Xoxxaw and Betelgeuse Lyra; the older brother of Girtab Markab and Nihal Markab; as well as the husband of Rhea Markab.

He is also romantically involved with both of the Myikos twins Aphrodite Myikos and Artemis Myikos; as well as with Feyrora Lynx and the maid Auriga Lynx. Feyrora is also the mother of his illegitimate son Mercury Lynx whom he hasn't met yet. Rhea is aware of his cheating with Feyora, but never caught him cheating with neither of his other love affairs. She's suspicious of Artemis and Auriga though, since she has a negative relationship with them at the start of the neighborhood.

At the start of the neighborhood, he is unemployed and is 29 days away from being an elder. He's named after the constellation of Ara.
